  • Post author:

Description:

The LIFE CAÑADAS project aims to implement conservation and restoration actions that will enhance the role of livestock trails in territorial connectivity, as well as disseminate their important functional role, understood as green infrastructure that, properly managed, can act as a reservoir of biodiversity and provide ecosystem services and ecological connectivity within and between spaces of the Natura 2000 Network and other protected areas. The project, with a budget of 1,848,000 euros, of which the European Commission co-finances 60%, runs between 2019 and 2024.
